Synapse Chat Documentation

Synapse Chat is a multi user chat system that works across intranets and internets using encrypted tcp communication.

Important NOTE!

This is a beta release and does not yet include all the planned functionality

Main featureset:

Encrypted TCP communication means that your conversations are private
Private messaging so other users do not need to see your conversations
Offline messaging means users will see new private messages when they log on
Shared files on server between all users
Peer to peer file sharing for internet users
Friendly resident avatar with whom you can discuss problems
All chat is archived and searchable
Windows ready, Linux and OSX coming soon
